Farmers across Koppal district faced difficulties obtaining urea fertilizer as the Kharif sowing season progressed. Long queues, limited supplies and delays related to the mandatory Farmer ID (FID) system added to farmers’ concerns. Some farmers reportedly left copies of RTC records and Aadhaar documents to reserve their place in fertilizer queues.
